Haim have responded to the allegations that the band’s bassist Este Haim mimics her bass parts during live performances, as reported by NME.
After the indie pop band’s recent show at New York City’s Governors Ball Music Festival, someone commented on footage of their rendition of “My Song 5”:
The band replied to the comment, saying:
“Lol, I can’t believe this shit is still happening.”
Later, they shared in a longer post:
“I’m so used to seeing this shit on every fucking video of us playing ever. I’m so over it. Don’t ever say we don’t play our own fucking instruments.”
